Editing

As editor-in-chief of the Fall 2026 issue of the PINCH Literary Journal, a student-led literary journal published annually by the University of Memphis MFA program, I led a team of 15 graduate students to produce a 200-page issue of poetry, art, and prose. I also worked with Adobe InDesign to lay out the journal.

I also have extensive professional experience editing business articles, books and magazines. As features editor and women’s editor at Debunk Media in Nairobi, I helped conceptualize monthly themes and commission writers. As a business writer and editor for corporates, I’ve written technical features, interviewed entrepreneurs across Africa, written business profiles and memoirs, and copyedited articles.

I always approach technical writing and editing assignments with a storyteller’s mind.
