I’ve judged literary prizes like the Afrocritik Short Story Prize 2024, the Hamza El-Rufai Short Story Prize 2022 and the Afritondo Short Story Prize 2019.

Children’s Books
Odary has written 12 children’s books with Moran (E.A.) Publishers and Longhorn Publishers Plc.
Literature Classroom
Her short story, “Boyi,” is currently part of the official literature curriculum in Kenyan High Schools.
Another one of her stories, “Boy Games,” is being taught in Junior Secondary English classes in Kenya.
Business Studies Textbooks
Odary has also written, proofread and edited the Kenyan CBC curriculum teaching and learning resources for Oxford University Press (East Africa).
